Still hammering this concept out. What I like to do and what I am physically able to do with a full plate (involving hubby and seven kiddos) is yet to be determined.
However, things I like to do involve but are not restricted to:
WRITING - I used to run and hide at the thought of a novel ... too much commitment. I relished the daydream of freelance article writing. Funny that I have two books written and am nervous about contacting potential clients about writing faith, family, humor, and/or life experience topics. If you are interested in my work, perhaps you are just the person I needed to shake me from my roost!
CREATIVE BRAINSTORMING - Creative problem solving ... my mind can flit to a hundred destinations in one second flat (yes, it's been timed!) and it is often caught coming up with creative solutions and possibilities that haven't been visited or considered yet. I love meeting creative, like-minded people that are still working out what they are to do with what God has given them, or maybe they are looking to take an idea and make it a reality.
NETWORKING - Sounds so formal, doesn't it? I love people and I love making the connection between people that have need of each other's talents. (See ... quite simple actually).
and last but not least...
SPEAKING - used to dabble a little...gained a lot of life experience since ... some exhilarating, some threatening to debilitate. Through it all, faith in God has been a tremendous blessing. I've been encouraged by the Holy Spirit, as we all have through the Scripture (Matthew 6:33) to "Seek first the Kingdom of Heaven and all else will be added besides" to filter life through the window of seeking God's Will in all things: the good, the bad, and the ugly.
